SILVER IMAGE SPARKLES IN CLEARWATER

Clearwater, FL. Silver Image Interactive, Inc., a multimedia production company, was honored with four awards in the statewide International Television AssociationÕs Golden Palm Festival. The awards were given for Best Graphics, Best Editing and the Silver Award in the Interactive/Multimedia category to the program, "City of Clearwater Information System". In the category for programs with a limited budget, the "Minorcans of St. Augustine," produced for the Spanish Quarter Museum, took the Bronze.

Silver Image Interactive, Inc. located in Clearwater, Florida, designs, writes and produces interactive multimedia programs and CD-ROMs. These products are used for training applications, classroom education, interactive museum exhibits, corporate communications, point-of-sale kiosks, municipal information systems and marketing presentations.

ITVA, the International Television Association, is a worldwide organization with over 8,000 video professionals. The Golden Palm Festival is an annual event sponsored by the ITVA chapters within Florida where members and non-members compete for the distinguished awards. The 1996 awards festival was held in conjunction with vendor exhibits and a full-day of seminars at the Dolphin Beach Resort, St. Pete Beach. The experienced team from Silver Image Interactive has been producing interactive video since the late 70s. Presently Macromedia Director is its authoring language and programs can be produced on either Macintosh or Windows platforms.
