SILVER IMAGE INTERACTIVE PRODUCES INTERACTIVE KIOSK FOR THE CITY OF CLEARWATER

Silver Image Interactive, Inc., a multimedia production company, produced an interactive kiosk for the City of Clearwater. The kiosk, located in Clearwater Mall, was recently "powered up" by Mayor Rita Garvey.

The system presently has over one thousand pages of information ranging in topics such as City Commission meeting dates and times, how to get utility services and where to pay bills, special events and city activities, parks and recreation centers, classes, marina and beaches and even a special section for visitor information. Every department within Clearwater is included and can be accessed in a browse mode or within a subject directory with 400 words linking the user to a specific area. City employees update the information pages to make certain that the information is as accurate and as timely as possible.

The theme chosen for this interactive kiosk program centers around water, bubbles and fish. Friendly narration and an easy-to-use navigation system encourages even first time users to climb aboard!
